Review

Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆

Heart breaking.  Heart warming.  Luke and Maggie have both been broken by their families.  Maggie's family issues have seen her take on responsibility for her younger brother after the death of their parents.  Maggie was generally ignored or belittled by them.  Luke wants nothing more than to escape as far away from his parents as possible after years of abuse at the hands of his father.  He is scared of turning out like him.  She is scared of letting anyone into their carefully constructed life out of fear of them both being hurt again.

These characters are so fragile yet both demonstrate a remarkable courage in fighting for their siblings.  Taking a chance on a romantic relationship is a massive step for both of them.  Will they take that leap together?

It was the combination of fragility and strength that made Luke and Maggie stand out as beautifully emotive characters.  We are taken on this amazing, emotional journey that you don't want to end.
