Reforming Jake by Leslie Kelly

Reforming Jake
by Leslie Kelly
Genre: Sexy Contemporary Romance

The long-awaited sequel to New York Times Bestselling Author Leslie Kelly's popular novel, BRINGING DOWN SAM!

Jake Montez is a tough, brawling, badass P.I. on a Harley.

Leanne Weston is a calm, quiet, artistic interior designer.

They have nothing in common. But when she has to bail him out of jail, and he repays the debt by keeping her safe from a mugger, sparks fly between the good girl and the oh-so-bad boy.

Their affair is steamy-hot, and super-secret. But can two people from such different backgrounds, with such different dreams, ever really make things work outside the bedroom?

REVIEW
Rating: ☆☆☆☆

Whereas 'Bringing Down Sam' was a lighter and fluffier read, 'Reforming Jake' was sexier, more sensual and a grittier read.  Jake is a much harder character; described as your typical bad boy.  He was not going to fall easily.

Leanne finds herself thrown into his company time and time again.  Although she is determined to keep her walls firmly in place, he sees straight through them and bit by bit brings them down, enabling her to discover her sensuality.

This was a faster paced and a more serious story line, which drew me into the story.  For me, the ending did feel a little rushed but, all in all, an enjoyable read.
