Jaye Ramsey doesn't believe what her grandmother says about the Salt Flats in Bolivia. She thought her grandmothers stories weren't true. Until Jaye and her friends get to Bolivia and two of her friends go missing. Jaye and her two friends Juliet and Zoe are searching for Maggie and Emma as they both have disappeared. Jaye then goes through a portal to 1735 in England, where she meets Lucas Kenway. Lucas is branded a murderer since his first wife has gone missing. Jaye sticks up for him while they were in town.
Jaye is Emma, Maggie, Juliert and Zoe's friend, went on vacation to Bolivia to see the salt flats. She is a librarian. Lucas Kenway is the Third Baron Hawksetter, his manners are rusty and he has been celibate for one year. Mrs. Clemens is the housekeeper, is more like family to Lucas. Don Burton is Lucas's butler, he is like family to Lucas.
This is my first book by Amber Daulton and it won't be my last. This book is very well written and the characters are very well developed. I couldn't help but feel connected to the characters. This is the third book in the Mirrors of time series.
