Chase and Jordan met when Jordan first moved to Oak Cove, Florida and they became inseparable. Chase is one serious concussion away from altering his whole life. Chase's father Steve has been pushing football on Chase since he was old enough to learn how to play. Steve and his wife Donna forced Chase to dump Jordan. Jordan hasn't got over Chase, she uses her job as a replacement. When Jordan gets a surprise call from Chase's mother Donna, she doesn't know what to do.
Jordan is the CEO of Natural Cosmetics in New York. She is a Military Brat, she has her Business Degree from NYU. Chase is the Quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals, he is 28 years old and he was the first round draft pick. Steve is Chase's father, he is very rude to Jordan. Cares more about Chase's NFL career than he does. Jake is Chase's first friend he made since he left Oak Grove. He is very funy and plays football for the Arizona Cardinals. Lacey is Jordan's friend, she is very loyal and caring person, she is a very successful Lawyer in New York. Silva is Jordan's PA. Donna is Chase's mother.
This is my first book by Riann Miller and it wont be my last. This book is very well written and the characters are very well developed. I found is very hard to put this book down. I loved how I felt connected to the characters.
