Part two and, as is Lisa Renee Jones' style, picks up exactly where part one left off. Whilst part one was very much about understanding where Amanda and Seth came from and how they ended up where they did, part two is very much about rebuilding the trust between them whilst trying to find out what happened, on top of solving the case that brought them back together. The quiet, get the job done Seth has a human side that is brought out by Amanda. She has the potential to bring him to his knees and destroy him if she so chooses. Seth is determined to bring her back to him permanently and clear her name in the process. Trust will bring them closer together and take them further apart.
A slow burner with plenty of tension and more questions than answers but oh so intriguing. Short installments but thankfully a short wait between each one and they are so worth the wait. Looking ahead to part three already.
